Hole of the Week #39 - Deacon's Lodge #14

This is a "head case hole". Two easy swings should put you in position for a <100 yard approach. It all sounds so easy when I'm typing it at my desk. It's when I get around the Cahoonas, with their testosterone-induced golf game, that my plan falls apart.

With very few exceptions, Deacon's seems to have all of the jaw dropping holes. Great hole and as Dougee states, you need to use the "other" brain on this one. Good drive, great, now the work begins. The carpet on the left side of the green is thicker than Goat's hair (in back, not on top). The green's no big deal, but getting there in one piece is the challenge. Great Friggin hole!!
