Finally, A Useful Post

Unlike the recent string of right-wing blather, here's a site that will be far more useful to all Cahoonas, both on- and off-season. www.ghin.com. It's the USGA's handicap lookup service. Not only can you look up your handicap, but, you can also LOOK UP EVERYONE ELSE'S.

Data shows some interesting trends:

1. Turk. 18.7. 4 rds. in '06. Apparently being in debt up to his eyeballs hasn't affected his game.
2. KSOX 12.3. 3 rds. in '06, only 5 in '05. Anybody really think he only played 5 times last year?
3. Casey. No listing. Obviously Lowery Hill doesn't reimburse for AZGA membership and handicap service fees.
4. Goat. 12.1. 7 rds in '06. I can think of 7 reasons Goat needs to get out of the house and on to the golf course. Can think of only one for Erin.
5. Grappler. No listing. Ditto WFC on SDGA fees. (my boss has 11 '06 rounds, Spyglass, Pebble Beach, Legacy, Classic and Superior National- obviously I still haven't figured out this corporate thing )
6. Kirby. 11.1 5 rds in '06. Whatever.
7. Turg. 12.1 3 rds. '06, 16 rds. in '05. Apparently Citi does reimburse.
8. Heis. 16. 6 rds. in '06. 3 rds. (97, 99, 100) all in one day. Now here's at least one Cahoona who knows how to train.
9. Emo. no listing. Apparently FCC realized giving him a free social membership was cheaper than replacing turf.

Other notable Cahoona numbers:

Drax: 4.2 at Braemar. Still hasn't figured out Cahoona rules. . .
Lindy 11.2 at Minnie, 22 anywhere else
Dil-Bag: no listing, whereabouts unknown.
Korth: no listing. Apparently the Missouri state pen doesn't have a course.

Only 400K? He really got stiffed.

This must have been hard on him. It is really a hard luck story.

Do You Like Surrender, Lose, Scram or Redeploy

Apparently "redeploy" sounds better than any of these others. See this article by Mark Steyn.

University of North Dakota to Sioux

Thankfully, an organization that doesn't succumb to PC. It helps to have a "sugar daddy".

Custom Potato Wine - Just What Casey Needs!!

Black Truffle? Celery? Peppercorn? Modern Spirits is adding all sorts of crap to their vodkas in an effort to give demanding consumers a customized tipple at an equally impressive price. At $150, you'd better be thinking long and hard which flavors you want in this booze.

This seems like just the thing for Casey. I think he'd be all over it were it not for the price. That's a bit more than that Grey Goose he drinks in northern Minnesota.
