Cahoona 2007 has come and gone. Each year, upon my return, I am asked by my friends/employees/neighbors how was the golf . Each year, I tell them that it was both good and bad, but that is not why I go. Again this year, the fellowship is the draw. That, like a fine wine, gets better each year. As Emo said, this isn't a bunch of guys who just sit around and talk about the "Glory Days" - (though there are some good stories there!).
Thanks guys for another great week in northern Minnesota. While I often comment about how I regret the speed with which time passes, I am already looking forward to Cahoona 2008. Cheers boys!

Agreed, another great year. If anyone has feedback on ways to improve, please let me know and I'll coordinate (in-person most likely) w/ Jaimee. I think the cabin is a great location and the package is a bargain. The food was adequate at Deacon's, excellent at Grandview. Deacon's continues to have problems w/ check in/out. I'm still waiting for receipts which I'll forward to each of you.
Yes, another great year has come and gone. Speaking of which, a reset on the countdown would be wise. Seeing Turg crank in the Eagle on the first hole on the first day of Pines while I was being interrogated by the credit card SS was a classic. Although I went from respectable to hack during an unfortunate small downward spiral, I appreciated every minute. Seeing the evolution of Emo's game (while endlessly talking on his frapping cell phone)is atune to the splitting of the atom. Watching Dougee test drive all of the carts before tee off to ensure a "fast cart" was a sight. Seeing Casey's alcohol level rise while his score plumetted was amazing. Watching goat organize his personal effects like a Cahoona version of the TV show "Monk" was amusingly disturbing. Seeing Grap being able to shell out good grub while being more pickled than the marinated beast he was serving was a feat. Seeing the whole week pass by without having Cliff put the jail house bracelets on one of us was a relief. Finally, watching, hearing and smelling every conceivable oriface of Turk go into full bloom all week I think caused me some neurological disorder. Then there's Angie and JAAAAYYYYYMMMMMEEEEE! Well deserved fun was had by all and if our countdown clock was working, I'd know how much time was left until it begins again.
