Hole of the Week 4: Deacon's Lodge #7

This year we got to play the front right green (2 days) for perhaps the first time since the very first year Deacon's Lodge was open. This green presents a "made for Cahoonas"-type shot and causes certain Cahoonas to take a hit of testosterone before coming to the teebox.

This year I made a trip into the trees on the right of the front green and there were more balls than trees. I came out with 13-14 balls and could see dozens more but didn't have the pocket space to haul them out. At least a half dozen of the balls I found had the initials "BKK"; whoever that is!

It seems that all the "good" Cahoona drives end up down below on the left side of the cart path. We seem to have a tendancy to make this hole tougher than it should be.

I did chip in from 80 yards at the Preserve in best ball for eagle. We used both of my shots so, technically, you did not record the ONLY eagle at Cahoona '06. Heis and Turg were my witnesses as they were able to join me in (read had to choke down) a couple of cold adult beverages.
