Hole of the Week #40 - The Pines Woods #2

Long par 4 is a tough hole. I know I haven't parred this one too many times over the years. I'm sure Kirby will remember parring it when he didn't birdie it!

Hole of the Week #39 - Deacon's Lodge #14

This is a "head case hole". Two easy swings should put you in position for a <100 yard approach. It all sounds so easy when I'm typing it at my desk. It's when I get around the Cahoonas, with their testosterone-induced golf game, that my plan falls apart.

Hole of the Week #38 - The Preserve Hole 17

This is the hole that began one of the most infamous nights in Cahoona history. Kitty jars the drive and the rest is history. "Ace" cocktails on the deck at The Preserve, bottomless margaritas and the next thing you know, Goetzinger is on the dance floor at Breezy Point trying to keep his body under his head. Kirby takes a twelve-hour "power nap" after drinking a Manhattan from a five gallon bucket.

By the way, this is a tough hole. Miss left and you have a downhill chip over sand. Miss right and you have to approach over the Sahara Desert. Nice ace Kitty!!!

And the winner is . . .

Oh, these are nice. First time I hit the 2 iron, I reached down, grabbed the unit and bellowed "my dick's too big for my body"!!!

Hole of the Week #37 - The Pines Lakes #1

Let's see - First hole of the day; nine Cahoonas; one drive each; one mulligan each; three of the eighteen drives end up in the fairway. Gosh, I wonder why the starter/marshall thinks he'll have his hands full keeping this group on pace.

Hangovers, late arrivals, trying to figure out the groups and the games all contribute to the limited number of pars and virtually no birdies on this hole. It really isn't that tough - we just make it so!

Here's a "Big Boy Toy" for Cahoona
